This policy covers the website mathumo.academy. The Mathumo app has its own: App privacy policy.

Who we are

The site is run by mathumo.academy. Contact: support@mathumo.academy.

What we collect and why

• Page counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page speed. No cookies, no profile.
• What is used. PostHog counts page views and a few actions (such as “Get the iOS app” or starting a game) without cookies or anything stored on your device. IP addresses are discarded. Data is stored in the United States.
• Google Analytics, only if you press “OK”. It sets _ga cookies to count visits and see where visitors come from. Google signals and ad personalisation are off; Google processes the data, including in the United States. It never runs on the pages where children play a game or use a tool.
• The waitlist. If you join, we keep your email to send one message on launch day, then delete the list. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form is sent by a person; it doesn’t track you.
• Emails you send us, kept to answer you.

Children

The games and tools collect nothing: no accounts, no names, no ads. The only thing kept is the sound on/off switch, in your browser.

Cookies and your choice

The only analytics cookies are Google Analytics’ _ga cookies, after “OK”. Change your choice with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or here: Google Analytics is off in this browser. Turn Google Analytics on Turning it off deletes the cookies. Cloudflare may set a short security cookie to block attacks.

How long we keep data, and your rights

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months; waitlist emails until launch day; your emails until you ask us to delete them. You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at support@mathumo.academy. We don’t sell personal data.

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
